Berkeley Alexander unveils service for non-standard deals

Wholesale insurance intermediary Berkeley Alexander has launched its new ‘Struggle Service’ for advisers.

The Struggle Service is designed to help advisers place their clients’ non-standard risks and has been developed in response to advisers’ feedback.

Berkeley Alexander says the service will all advisers them to access specialist markets and insurers and provide competitive quotes for their clients.

Mark Hutchings, Berkeley Alexander’s sales and marketing director, said: “It’s surprising just how many cases don’t fit into the ‘vanilla’ terms offered by most providers. We asked advisers what they really needed to help their business when it comes to GI and they told us that it’s the ability to turn problem cases into opportunities. So we’ve launched our Struggle Service which means that advisers don’t have to miss out just because a risk is slightly more complicated than the norm.””
