Berkeley Alexander unveils 2023 apprentice scheme

Published on

General insurance provider, Berkeley Alexander, has announced the launch of its 2023 apprentice programme.

Liudvikas Pavlov has joined Berkeley Alexander as an apprentice under the scheme in its first intake. He has a BSC Hons in Computer Science from Brighton University. He will spend two years with the finance team before completing his programme with two years in a broking role taking his CII exams and other qualifications.

Apprentices will all join existing teams, providing them with on-the-job training and support as they study for relevant qualifications. The structured programme offered by Berkeley Alexander allows apprentices to study at their own pace, with the opportunity to fast track their progression as appropriate.

Geoff Hall, chairman of Berkeley Alexander, said: “We’re incredibly excited to launch our new apprentice programme, and to welcome Pavlov to the team. Our goal is to help secure a better future for young people whilst at the same time improving the talent pipeline of our business.

“The insurance sector has so much to offer graduates and school leavers, and bringing in grass roots talent is vital to investing in the future success of our industry.”
