Berkeley Alexander has announced the appointment of David Browne as its new sales manager.

Browne (pictured) has 15 years’ sales management experience, having put together and run several customer service and telesales teams across a wide range of industries.

He will be responsible for growing the intermediary client base, the day-to-day running of the BDM team, and the training and development of staff in both the new business and renewal teams.

Geoff Hall, managing director of Berkeley Alexander, said: “We’re delighted to welcome David to BA. His strong sales and management expertise will have a really positive impact upon our broker services teams, and will prove vitally important to our plans for substantial incremental growth during 2015.”

Browne added: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to build upon BA’s very strong reputation in the market. Great customer service has been, and will remain, at the very heart of the proposition, and the newly expanded BDM team will be vitally important as we seek to both secure new relationships, and nurture existing ones. Exciting times lay ahead.”
