Belmont Green hires mortgages sales director

Published on

Yet-to launch mortgage lender Belmont Green has appointed Louisa Sedgwick as its director of sales for mortgages.

She joins the ‘challenger’ lender from the Leeds Building Society, where she was head of intermediary distribution. She will report to Guy Batchelor, sales and marketing director.

Sedgwick’s role at Belmont Green will see her managing a UK-wide team of key account managers, telephone BDMs and intermediary sales support staff.

Batchelor said: “‘Louisa has worked within the financial services industry for 25 years, 18 of which have been in the intermediary space. She is incredibly passionate about the industry and recognises the need to support intermediaries in developing their businesses going forward and offering alternative mortgage solutions to their customers. I’m delighted she is joining us.”
