Barclays to offer 1.58% five-year fix

Barclays is making a fresh round of rate reductions across its Residential and Reward ranges.

New products are launching tomorrow, Tuesday 17 September.

Changes include reducing rates by up to 0.14 percentage points across selected two, three and five-year fixed rates as well as reductions to products within its existing customer Reward range.

 

Key Product change highlights:

Available for Residential Purchase and Remortgage

  • Reduced – 5 year fixed with a £999 product fee available for loans £5,000 – £2,000,000 Max loan 60% LTV, reduced from 1.64% to 1.58%
  • Reduced – 5 year fixed with a £999 product fee available for loans £5,000 – £2,000,000 Max loan 75% LTV, reduced from 1.68% to 1.63%
  • Reduced – 5 year fixed with a £999 product fee available for loans £5,000 – £1,000,000 Max loan 80% LTV, reduced from 1.90% to 1.83%

Remortgage

  • 1.35% 2 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £2,000,000 now with Switch & Save £200 cashback

  • 1.28% 2 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £2,000,000 will decrease to 1.24%
  • 1.55% 2 Year Fixed, £299 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.49%
  • 1.58% 3 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.49%
  • 1.68% 3 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.58%
  • 1.64% 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £2,000,000 will decrease to 1.58%
  • 1.68% 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £2,000,000 will decrease to 1.63%
  • 1.90% 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 80% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.83%

  • 1.79% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.64%
  • 1.88% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.77%
  • 2.09% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.95%
  • 2.05% 3 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.98%
