Barclays to cut pair of two-year rates

Barclays is reducing rates on two of its two-year fixed rates within its residential and Reward ranges.

The reduced products will be available tomorrow (Friday 4 October).

Key Product changes

Available for Residential Purchase and Remortgage

  • Reduced – two-year fixed with a £999 product fee available for loans £5,000 – £2,000,000, max loan 60% LTV, reduced from 1.24% to 1.21%.
  • Reduced – two-year fixed with a £999 product fee available for loans £5,000 – £1,000,000, max loan 85% LTV, reduced from 1.54% to 1.51%.

Available for Residential Rate Switch and Further Advance

  • Reduced – two-year fixed with a £999 product fee available for loans £5,000 – £2,000,000, max loan 60% LTV, reduced from 1.24% to 1.21%.
  • Reduced – two-year fixed with a £999 product fee available for loans £5,000 – £2,000,000, max loan 85% LTV, reduced from 1.54% to 1.51%.

No products are increasing in rate or being withdrawn and not replaced.
