Barclays increases Great Escape cashback amid rate changes

Barclays is cutting rates tomorrow on a selection of products across its residential, buy-to-let and Reward ranges and introducing new products.

Changes include launching two new five year fixed rates at 60% and 75% LTVs.

Barclays is also increasing the cashback offered on its Great Escape products from £300 to £400.

Changes are as follows:

Residential

Purchase/Remortgage

  • 1.57% 2 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.52%
  • 1.68% 2 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £375,000 will decrease to 1.63%
  • 2.19% 3 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 2.15%
  • 1.81% 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.79%
  • 1.96% 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.88%
  • 2.08% 5 Year Fixed, £999 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 2.06%

Remortgage

  • Great Escape 1.97% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.95%
  • Great Escape 1.99% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.97%

 

Buy-to-let

Purchase/Remortgage

  • Premier 2.55% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £35,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 2.46%
  • Premier 2.07% 5 Year Fixed, £1,795 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £35,000, Max loan £2,000,000 will decrease to 2.03%
  • 1.77% 2 Year Fixed, £1,795 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £35,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 1.68%
  • 2.56% 2 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £35,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 2.47%
  • 2.08% 5 Year Fixed, £1,795 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £35,000, Max loan £500,000 will decrease to 2.04%
  • 2.38% 5 Year Fixed, £1,795 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £35,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 2.35%
  • 2.75% 5 Year Fixed, £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £35,000, Max loan £1,000,000 will decrease to 2.73%
