Barclays cuts rates for existing customers

Barclays is making changes to its EMC (existing mortgage customer) products.

All the changes are effective from Friday 21 February.

The details are as follows:

Residential:

  • 4.60% EMC Reward two-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 60% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.43%
  • 4.52% EMC Reward two-year fixed rate, £999 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.40%
  • 4.89% EMC Reward two-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.61%
  • 5.09% EMC Reward two-year fixed rate, £999 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.82%
  • 5.52% EMC Reward two-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 5.06%
  • 6.02% EMC Reward two-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, Over 85% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 5.82%
  • 4.87% EMC Reward five-year fixed rate, £999 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.57%
  • 4.97% EMC Reward five-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 85% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m, will decrease to 4.70%

Buy-to-let:

  • 4.70% EMC Reward buy-to-let two-year fixed rate, £1795 product fee, 65% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £1m, will decrease to 4.40%
  • S.15% EMC Reward buy-to-let two-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 65% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £1m, will decrease to 4.78%
  • S.01% EMC Reward buy-to-let two-year fixed rate, £1795 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £1m, will decrease to 4.55%
  • S..45% EMC Reward buy-to-let two-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 75% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £1m, will decrease to 5.05%
  • 4.57% EMC Reward buy-to-let five-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 65% LTV, Min loan £5k, Max loan £1m, will decrease to 4.50%

New products: 

  • 5.01% EMC Reward two-year fixed rate, £999 product fee, 90% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m
  • 5.22% EMC Reward two-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 90% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m
  • 4.67% EMC Reward five-year fixed rate, £999 product fee, 90% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m
  • 4.75% EMC Reward five-year fixed rate, £0 product fee, 90% LTV, Min loan £1k, Max loan £2m
