Aviva promotes group risk protection with new site

Aviva has launched Letstalkgrouprisk.co.uk to help advisers understand how group risk benefits can bring protection to their corporate customers.

The new online resource for advisers has been launched in response to increased interest in group risk issues and to help advisers create an awareness of group risk benefits amongst employers, Aviva said.

The insurance giant says the site features a range of tools to help advisers start conversations, stay up-to-date with the industry and sell group risk to customers.

The website includes case studies, industry views and information for advisers to gain an understanding of a range of issues relating to group risk. These include stress in the workplace and early warning signs as well as the importance of early intervention and flexible rehabilitation services.

Katherine Moxham from Group Risk Development (GRiD) also discusses the impact of sickness absence and how group risk solutions and wellbeing initiatives in the workplace protect employees and save on absence costs.

Steve Bridger, head of group risk at Aviva, UK Health, said: “The government’s recent review into absence management has shone a spotlight on the importance of early intervention and the need for employers to support more people with health conditions to stay in work.
