AToM makes referral business appointment

All Types of Mortgages Ltd (AToM) has appointed Phil Hearn as relationship manager for its Refer Direct Introducer (RDI) business.

The AToM RDI project (formally IAR) helps intermediaries to refer mortgage clients to AToM who then manage the whole process through to completion, taking full responsibility for advice and recommendation for the client.

AToM claims the RDI scheme is interesting for fully authorised advisers who would like to hand off their mortgage business, as well as those not qualified in the mortgage sector, but who sometimes come across client opportunities and need to deliver a mortgage solution to them.

It is also aimed at those looking for an exit strategy from the mortgage sector yet would still like an income stream from their current mortgage client bank.
