Assurant B&C deal available via PTFS

Published on

Personal Touch Financial Services (PTFS) has moved into the sale of buildings and contents (B&C) insurance via a new partnership with Assurant Intermediary.

Assurant Intermediary’s B&C product will be available to advisers through the PTFS building & contents engine and Toolbox by the end of the week.

Assurant Intermediary’s online point-of-sale system, IPOS, has been integrated with the PTFS engine and Toolbox to allow advisers to create instant quotes and access application forms ready for submitting online directly to Assurant.

The system produces demands and needs statements, built from choices made by the customer during the quotation process, as well as automatically validating bank information. It also provides real-time management reporting and document production.

Kevin Paterson, sales and marketing director at Assurant Intermediary, said: “We believe the sale of general insurance products should be a core part of every adviser’s offering. We want advisers to have complete confidence in the products and services they offer
