ASA bans PPI text message ad

The Advertising Standards Authority has banned a text message advert from a PPI claim firm.

A text message sent on 24 June 2011 by PPI Careline, which stated, “URGENT! If you took out a Bank Loan prior to 2007 then you are almost certainly entitled to £2300 in compensation. To claim reply YES””.
