AMI calls on advisers to take part in protection survey

Published on

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has launched its annual survey of mortgage and protection advisers as it prepares the sixth edition of its Protection Viewpoint report.

The trade body is urging advisers across the sector to complete the short online questionnaire before 29 August. Responses are anonymous and advisers do not need to be AMI members to participate.

The survey, which AMI says takes less than 10 minutes to complete, is designed to capture the realities of day-to-day advice work. The findings will be combined with consumer research to provide a comparison of views and highlight where gaps or differences in perspective exist.

This year’s Protection Viewpoint will be unveiled on 5 November at a launch event supported by Legal & General, Royal London and The Exeter.

The report is expected to inform industry discussion and shape the practical resources AMI develops for firms and advisers over the coming year.

Stacy Penn, head of policy at AMI, said: “I’m delighted that AMI is running its adviser survey for the sixth year. Adviser feedback plays a crucial role in our research, particularly as it’s reviewed alongside the consumer survey findings to highlight any gaps or differences in perspectives. The more advisers who take part, the richer our insight will be.

“We encourage all mortgage or protection advisers to spare a few moments to contribute. The survey will remain open until 29 August. Thank you for the support.”
