The director of an all-female financial advice company has won an award for outstanding customer service in the Kent Women in Business Awards 2015.

Rebecca Robertson, director of Evolution for Women, established the business to provide full financial advice to women and their families. Her goal was for the company to become trusted advisers offering whole of market advice on a range of financial issues from getting a mortgage and protecting your family, to guardianship for children and making a will.

Robertson said: “I am very proud of the team’s achievements. I set out to from the beginning to ensure our clients came first, from the advice we give to the services they receive. The industry as a whole often has a bad reputation and we plan to change that by putting a feminine touch to finance one client at a time.”

Hilary Steel, director of Kent Women in Business Awards, added: “We have so many amazing business women in such a wide ranging number of industry sectors in the county, and their achievements and successes should absolutely be applauded.

“The Kent Women in Business awards had hundreds of applicants and Customer Services Category had over 60 amazing businesses apply, with eight shortlisted, Evolution for Women stood out as the winner to the judges as customer service was at the heart of their business, with strong client testimonials supporting and delivering their ethics when working with clients.”
