Alex Maddox joins Acenden

Alex Maddox has joined UK and Ireland mortgage servicing specialist Acenden as director of business origination and development.

He joins from Deutsche Bank where he was responsible for the european residential mortgage trading business. Alex was also on the board of DB UK Bank and managed DB Mortgages.

His role is to increase Acenden’s UK & Ireland business, including primary servicing, special servicing, analytics and transaction advisory services.

Previously, Alex was the Head of European Securitised products for the hedge fund, Citadel. Prior to that, Alex spent a number of years with Lehman Brothers, starting as a derivatives trader and becoming head of securitised products trading.

Amany Attia, CEO of Acenden, said: “Alex joins the company at a critical time as we experience increasing demand for our services from institutions in the investment and capital markets.

“Alex’s track record in building successful relationships with investment and commercial banks will be invaluable in his new role at Acenden as the company continues to expand its operations.”
