Aldermore unveils new service promise and website

Published on

Aldermore has launched a new service promise to brokers.

  • Dedicated contacts – as well as providing dedicated regional sales team contacts, Aldermore offers support to both residential and buy-to-let brokers at key stages of the application process, including assigning a specialist underwriting contact to each case.
  • Transparent service – to ensure a transparent approach the bank shares its current underwriting process and case timescales every day for mortgage applications.
  • Teamwork – In additon to retention procuration fees being paid on residential and buy-to-let loyalty mortgages, Aldermore’s teams “work closely” with solicitors to progress commercial mortgages and with site managers, when funding property development loans.
  • Fairness – Aldermore says it is committed to ensuring that all customers get the same deal whether using a broker or applying direct.

The bank has also launched a new website, https://intermediaries.aldermore.co.uk/  which allows brokers across residential, buy-to-let, commercial mortgages, and property development finance, to access all of Aldermore’s offerings in one site.

Charles McDowell, commercial director of mortgages at Aldermore, said: “As our mortgages business continues to grow, it is important to ensure that our services match the needs of intermediaries, providing them with expert support on a day-to-day basis.

“We continue to listen to our brokers and have made changes to our services based on direct feedback. This ensures that our offering is in-line with their recommendations and continues to meet their needs.

“Our new dedicated mortgage intermediary website is simple and easy to use, with current service turnaround times clearly displayed leading the way in transparency. This demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the broker community and will help us to deal with the developments we are seeing in this ever-changing sector.”
