Aldermore makes operations appointment

Aldermore has appointed Jeremy Topliss as associate director of operations for the Midlands region of its invoice finance business.

Based in Aldermore’s Birmingham office in Newhall Street, Topliss reports to regional managing director, Tony Smedley, and his new role gives him responsibility for ensuring Aldermore delivers a high quality, fast and reliable service to business clients based in the Midlands.

Prior to joining Aldermore, Topliss was head of operations for Bibby Financial Services in Leicester, where he had responsibility for a team of 40 staff covering client relations, underwriting and recoveries. He has also worked for Royal Bank of Scotland Invoice Finance, where he was head of client relations in the Midlands.

Topliss said: “I’m delighted to be joining a rapidly growing and very successful finance team here in the Midlands. Aldermore has quickly established itself as a bank which is dedicated to supporting small and medium sized businesses and I’m pleased to be part of this evolving success story.
