Aldermore has added Bovis Homes and Persimmon Homes (including Charles Church and Westbury) to its house builder panel.

The NewBuy scheme is designed to help homebuyers, either first-time buyers or home movers, with a limited deposit acquire a newly built home.

Aldermore’s NewBuy mortgages offer a choice of two and three-year fixed rates up to 95% LTV.

Aldermore was the first so-called ‘challenger bank’ to take part in the Government’s NewBuy scheme.

Charles Haresnape, managing director of Aldermore Residential Mortgages, said: “NewBuy is one of a number of government initiatives designed to help homebuyers move up or onto the housing ladder.

“We’re delighted that Bovis Homes and Persimmon Homes are joining our panel of home builders, which already includes Barrett Homes, Fairview New Homes, Keepmoat, Linden Homes and Redrow.”

Kevin Wilkins, Bovis Homes group marketing director, added: “We’re delighted to now have Aldermore on board, offering buyers even more choice as they look to take advantage of this excellent home buying opportunity.”
