Rob Lankey, Aldermore’s managing director of commercial mortgages, says: “Aldermore is delighted to be associated with GT Racing. Britain has a fantastic reputation for motorsport talent and innovation whilst Aldermore is proud to be at the cutting edge of banking innovation.

“Matt started his career in 2009, the same year that Aldermore was formed, so there’s a genuine sense of shared success and ambition. We’re really pleased to be supporting Matt at this crucial point in his career and look forward to introducing our clients to the exciting world of British GT racing.”

Bell added: “This is an important season for me. I want to show that I can win championships so it is great to go into the year with the backing of Aldermore.
