Abbey for Intermediaries (AFI) has launched a new app for the Apple iPhone.

It is designed to provide intermediaries with the following:

  • Notifications of new rates and daily service updates;
  • News items;
  • Top hints and tips;
  • Access to individual contacts;
  • Link to Mortgage Application Tracking System (MATS).

The free app also hosts a range of useful features such as the option for the intermediary to store the telephone number of their BDM or TBDM, or the admin team at AFI, as default within the app. This number can then be dialled instantly at any point within the app.

Miguel Sard, managing director of Abbey for Intermediaries, said: “We are delighted to support our intermediary partners with the launch of our new app for the iPhone. Offering information about our products and service to intermediaries on the move, the app will ensure that intermediaries who are visiting clients at home or away from the office can stay up-to-date with the latest information at all times, saving them both time and money.

“We are always looking at ways to make it even easier for intermediaries to do business with us and we will be working hard to support intermediaries with further enhancements over the coming months.”
