Affirmative expands its operation

Short-term finance provider Affirmative Finance has appointed Gareth Broome to its sales team.

Broome, who has over a decade of experience within the industry, joins Affirmative from Freedom Finance and will work closely with Ian Harrison and Jade Esterkin.

Affirmative is developing its product range, from vanilla short-term loans to refurbishment loans of single houses to a development of multiple units.

Eugene Esterkin, managing director of Affirmative, said “We have always recognised the need for intermediaries to discuss face to face their transactions with members of our Sales Team and therefore continually foster those relationships with intermediaries on a very personal basis. Gareth, with his energy, enthusiasm and knowledge, adds new depth and dimension to that focus.”

Broome added: “I’m thrilled to have joined the experienced team at Affirmative and there is no doubt that it represents a positive move. As both an FCA regulated and a true balance sheet lender, Affirmative already hold a very strong position within the bridging sector.

“Plus, with MCD on the doorstep, the next 12 months are going to be a very interesting time in our market and I’m looking forward to the challenge that it brings.”
