Acre expands partnership with Iress to include protection sourcing

Acre has strengthened its ties with fintech provider Iress by selecting the firm to support protection sourcing on its platform, marking the third integration between the two businesses.

The new functionality will be available to Acre users from 1 August, and builds on a longstanding partnership that began with mortgage sourcing in 2020. In 2021, the integration of Iress’s Lender Connect added lender application capability.

With protection sourcing now added, Acre and Iress aim to bring the entire mortgage and protection journey into a single platform.

Warren O’Connell, head of business development at Iress, said: “Time and again Acre has walked the talk when it comes to realising its ambition to shake up the mortgage and insurance advice process.

“With its clear aim of streamlining and automating tasks for brokers, while providing homebuyers with faster and better advice, we are naturally aligned.

“This latest integration is another step towards our shared goal of helping brokers to run the whole mortgage and protection journey in one place – securing the right deals and cover for customers with confidence and without the need for rekeying.”

Justus Brown, founder and chief executive of Acre, said the extended relationship would support the company’s broader mission to re-engineer the mortgage advice process with integrated tools and partnerships that reduce friction and improve outcomes.

“We have always been driven to build an impactful platform that improves brokers’ ways of working and adds value and breadth to the service they offer.

“To systematically change the mortgage journey, it is imperative we work with other like-minded innovators in the ecosystem. This is why we continue to expand our relationship with Iress.

“Their unique approach to mortgage and protection data works in symbiosis with our CRM so that brokers receive a best-in-class technology that makes their lives easier and helps serve clients better,” he said.
