Acre has announced a significant upgrade to its integration with Nationwide for Intermediaries, expanding functionality and improving the digital experience for mortgage brokers using its platform.
The improved integration, utilising Nationwide’s latest Application Programming Interface (API), allows brokers to support a broader range of client types, including self-employed applicants, foreign nationals, and those seeking interest-only mortgages. The update aims to help brokers secure the right product more efficiently and increase the likelihood of matching the correct mortgage solution first time.
As part of the upgrade, Acre users can now reserve product lines directly through the platform and download a Decision in Principle (DIP) certificate directly into their case documents.
In addition, Acre has introduced new pre-submission checks, enabling data to be sourced and verified ahead of the application stage. Brokers are now able to see when a case is ready for DIP and move more seamlessly towards a full application.
Justus Brown, founder and CEO of Acre, said: “Homebuyers and those wishing to remortgage want a quick mortgage decision. We are constantly evolving our platform to find new ways to reduce any friction in the mortgage journey.
“Our partnership with Nationwide is rooted in a belief that technology makes the task of securing the best-fit mortgage simpler and faster. Today’s development is indicative of our shared mission as well as a relationship that continues to go from strength to strength.”
Andy Tilsley, head of intermediary digital at Nationwide Building Society, added: “It is crucial that we make it easier for brokers to do business with us and, through our partnership with Acre, we are improving the digital broker journey.
“Today’s announcement marks steps in enhancing the day-to-day experience with us and signifies our long-term collaboration with Acre.”
