Accord wins for website

Accord Mortgage’s website has been recognised at the Northern eCommerce Awards.

The new-look website was named the Financial Services eCommerce Website of the year and was also awarded the Best Online Experience at the annual event which celebrates exceptional websites, platforms and marketing from businesses based in the North.

The awards are judged by a panel of eCommerce experts, who select winners based on a website or platform being notably fit for purpose for its intended audience.

Accord launched its new website in the summer following consultation with brokers.

Sam Clements, web designer for Accord Mortgages, said: “We’re thrilled that all the hard work creating our new website has been recognised by the eCommerce community. However, we can’t take all the credit – the team worked closely with brokers through the entire design process so this award celebrates our co-creator partnership with intermediaries.

“We wanted to develop a website that will enhance the way we support brokers by making our product information and lending criteria simple to find, as well as providing interactive tools, such as our Client Hub and web chat, so brokers can easily get in touch with us.

“We are constantly looking at ways to improve the website, and welcome any feedback from brokers.”
