Accord delivers Welcome Box number 40,000

Accord Mortgages is celebrating its 40,000th welcome box, delivered on behalf of adviser Carly Docking at Yellow Brick Mortgages in Norwich.

The scheme, which has been running for just over three years, sends a complimentary hamper to any first-time buyer or home mover who completes a mortgage with Accord. Including two mugs, coffee, tea and biscuits, the boxes are sent as a gift from the broker, with no Accord branding featured.

To celebrate the 40,000th box, a festive-themed hamper containing a collection of luxury food items was presented to Yellow Brick Mortgages by Colin Newbold, Accord Business Development Manager for East Anglia and Essex.

Docking (pictured, right) at Yellow Brick Mortgages said: “I’ve been really impressed with Accord’s criteria and affordability and the application process is really easy. The hampers are a great touch and a thoughtful gesture which our clients really appreciate. We’re a rapidly growing firm and these sorts of extras help increase recommendations and support our expansion.”

Jeremy Duncombe, Director of Intermediary Distribution at Accord Mortgages said: “In today’s climate, adding value is key and the welcome boxes are a simple but extremely effective way of a broker being able to show a client they care. Many brokers have shared messages of thanks from their clients with us and reported that the boxes, which have no reference to Accord on them, have resulted in referrals, which is great to hear.

“Demonstrating the value of advice is at the core of our business model and alongside offering practical hints, tips and industry insight through the Accord Growth Series, we’re committed to helping brokers grow their businesses.”
