National advice firm Sandringham Financial Partners has appointed Barry Kayes as chairman.

Kayes (picture), has held senior positions in a number of financial product and support services providers over the last 30 years, including the role of chairman of Tenet Group and member of the director advisory board for SimplyBiz, takes on the role with immediate effect.

He said: “Providing financial advisers with the services to grow their businesses in a time effective and profitable manner has never been more important. Following the collapse of several historic networks, and in light of the demographic time bomb the industry is facing, I am thrilled to be appointed as chairman of Sandringham to help provide this much-needed guidance and support.

“Having recently expanded its new business and compliance support services, I am convinced that Sandringham is well-placed to enable advisers to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities in today’s marketplace and look forward to contributing to the next phase of its success.”

Steve Braidford, managing director of Sandringham, added: “Barry’s extensive experience in the profession, together with his enthusiasm for advisers to succeed simply cannot be understated. I am delighted to welcome him to the Sandringham team as we continue to grow the business by supporting more and more advisers and helping them to deliver first class advice and service to their clients.”
