Roma Finance completes £1.47m RomaPRO deal in 28 days

Published on

Roma Finance has completed its first seven-figure transaction through its RomaPRO product, delivering a £1.47 million buy-to-let mortgage to refinance a 12-property portfolio in Liverpool.

The case was introduced by Express Mortgages and finalised within 28 days. The facility enabled the borrower, a Liverpool-based property investor, to consolidate existing mortgages while raising additional capital for future expansion of his business.

RomaPRO, launched in January, is positioned as an end-to-end funding solution designed to serve the needs of professional landlords and portfolio investors. The 60-month term loan offered the flexibility to monetise the borrower’s existing assets, making it a suitable fit for refinancing multiple properties under tight timelines.

TIMELY VALUATIONS

A key challenge in completing the deal was obtaining accurate and timely valuations across a wide range of assets. This was resolved using a blend of desktop assessments and automated valuation models (AVMs), allowing the underwriting process to continue without unnecessary delays.

“The completion of this deal in just 28 days is a testament to the expertise of our team and the strength of our partnerships.”

“Roma Finance delivered exactly what was needed for our client. The RomaPRO product provided a structured and effective solution, allowing him to refinance his portfolio and access additional capital to reinvest in his business.

“The use of desktop valuations and AVMs played a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and timely process. This deal is a great example of how lenders and brokers can work together to deliver exceptional results for property investors.”
