Reward Funding retains Sunday Times’ accolade

Reward Funding has once again secured a place on The Sunday Times’  list of Best Places to Work, marking the second consecutive year that the alternative finance lender has received the accolade.

The firm was recognised in the medium-sized organisations category following a rigorous assessment process that reviewed 50,000 companies across 26 industries. The annual awards, run in partnership with employee engagement specialists, identify workplaces that excel in employee experience, wellbeing and satisfaction.

Reward, which operates six regional offices across the UK from Scotland to London, was commended for its ongoing commitment to fostering a high-performance culture that places employee wellbeing and inclusion at its centre.

A key contributor to this year’s recognition was the launch of Reward’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP), developed collaboratively with staff. The EVP forms part of a wider refresh of the company’s internal people strategy, known as Evo, which reflects a sustained investment in Reward’s workforce.

The business has also implemented a number of wellbeing initiatives, including mental health first aider training and regular wellness sessions, with the aim of embedding support structures and promoting a strong sense of collective purpose throughout the organisation.

Nick Smith (pictured), group managing director at Reward Funding, said the award was a reflection of the culture the team had worked hard to build. “Strong relationships, both inside and outside the business, are key to our ongoing success. A positive, supporting culture where we thrive together benefits everyone at Reward. It is reflected in the strong partnerships we continue to build every day with our introducers, clients and partners,” he said.

“Being recognised with this prestigious accolade for the second-year running is a fantastic reflection of our team’s commitment to building an outstanding culture, shaping the future of our business and making Reward a truly great place to work.”
