Pure Retirement has launched several new resources, aiming to equip intermediaries with marketing tools, educational materials and peer-led insights to help them capitalise on opportunities in the later life lending sector.
The lifetime mortgage provider has extended its free-to-access Adviser Marketing Toolkit, which is available to all advisers registered with Pure Retirement.
The toolkit now includes two new white label guides designed to support client education and engagement: Clarifying Common Misconceptions about Equity Release, and a new Customer Profiles Guide that illustrates real-world scenarios for the use of lifetime mortgages.
Both guides are available in formats suitable for direct consumer use or for introducers, and are customisable with the adviser’s own branding.
In addition to marketing support, the lender has also added a new lead generation guide to its Pure Retirement Academy. The guide is aimed at helping advisers develop their client base, offering practical advice on prospecting and business development strategies in the context of later life lending.
The firm is also embracing more informal, peer-led educational formats through the launch of its podcast series Purely In Conversation.
The most recent episode features Kelly Worthington, director of Later Life Freedom, in conversation with national field sales manager Jane Mullan. Worthington reflects on her journey in the sector, discusses the marketing strategies that have shaped her business, and outlines her ambitions for the future of mortgage advice.
The debut episode included contributions from Sara Robinson of Equity Release Associates and Matthew Taylor of Equilaw, who shared their experiences navigating the changing landscape of later life lending and offered personal insights into the sector’s evolution.
Melanie Godley (pictured), senior marketing manager at Pure Retirement, said the new resources respond directly to adviser priorities identified through recent research with Smart Money People. “Having seen via our research with Smart Money People that 80% of advisers planned on investing in their business this year, and with 66% seeking to improve their marketing, we’ve been more committed than ever to supporting advisers in growing their business and supporting their clients,” she said.
“These latest additions to our resources underline the ongoing efforts within Pure Retirement to grow the market through offering our adviser network the tools and help to educate their clients, and we look forward to continue adding to our offering throughout 2025.”
