The Protection Distributors Group (PDG) has announced Reframe Cancer and Space as the two new sponsors it is now working with.

Reframe Cancer provides nurse-led specialist cancer navigation and support via insurers, employers and healthcare providers, currently covering over one million lives.

Space designs and builds digital products for financial services companies to help simplify processes for advisers and customers.

Both organisations have a commitment and passion to improve customer outcomes which align with the purpose of the PDG.

Reframe Cancer and Space join the existing eight sponsors that operate within the protection market. These are: CIExpert, iPipeline, Iress, NMG Consulting, Protection Guru, Square Health, UnderwriteMe and Teladoc Health UK.

The sponsors work with the PDG and its members to help further improve customer outcomes through initiatives focusing on market developments, adviser education, consumer awareness and access to insurance.

Marilyn Cole, client partner at Space, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor the PDG. A perfect partner as we both strive to work with distributors and providers to educate and increase awareness across the UK.”

Mark Stephenson, CEO of Reframe Cancer, added: “At Reframe Cancer we are excited to work with the PDG. Their dedication to raising industry standards and collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission. We look forward to working alongside the PDG and its members to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.”

“We are really pleased to have Reframe Cancer and Space join us as sponsors, as they provide unique services in the protection market and will add value to our members and activities alongside our existing sponsors,” said Neil McCarthy, chair of PDG.

“The insight and practical support we get from all our sponsors is invaluable in helping the PDG to grow the protection market and develop initiatives that will have a positive impact on consumers purchasing and using protection products.”
