Mortgage Market Review

PMS has produced a consumer guide helping advisers update their customers about the changes they face as a result of the Mortgage Market Review (MMR).

The Sesame firm said The Mortgage Market Review: a borrower’s guide to the new rulings from the FCA has been designed so it can be customised by member firms and personalised with their company details. The brochure can then be displayed in advisers’ offices or sent to customers prior to a face-to-face appointment to help them prepare ahead of the meeting.

Members can download a copy of the brochure from the MMR section of the PMS website.

Lisa Martin, PMS director of operations and sales at Sesame Bankhall Group, said: “This guide is part of our ongoing commitment to working with members to support their businesses in the run up to the MMR and beyond.

“We are aware that advisers are extremely busy preparing for the new regulation so we wanted to produce something that would make it as easy as possible to update their customers.

“The guide covers off everything from what consumers need to be aware of with the MMR changes to how they can best prepare for their first appointment with an adviser.”
