Paradigm Mortgage Services has published its events timetable for the first five months of the year.

The mortgage services proposition is running three different types of events from January through to the end of May. The events, which are open to all directly authorised advisers as well as Paradigm member firms, are as follows:

  • Lending Master Class – an opportunity for advisers to sit down with individual lenders, learn more about their product ranges and criteria, and look at their underwriting practices.
  • Protection Best Practice – an event aimed at helping advisers broaden their understanding of the sector, as well as hearing from a number of providers in order to increase their business sales opportunities.
  • Mortgage & Protection Event – attendees will hear from a number of expert speakers on current market activity, and will be able to speak to a number of lenders and product providers about their propositions, as well as gain an update on the Consumer Credit License changes so they can remain on track for implementation.

The full timetable of events is:

  • Paradigm Lending Master Class – Chelmsford – 28 January.
  • Paradigm Protection Best Practice – Durham – 29 January.
  • Paradigm Mortgage & Protection Event – London – 10 February.
  • Paradigm Mortgage & Protection Event – Southampton – 11 February.
  • Paradigm Lending Master Class – Exeter – 11 March.
  • Paradigm Lending Master Class – Birmingham – 26 March.
  • Paradigm Mortgage & Protection Event – Gatwick – 22 April.
  • Paradigm Mortgage & Protection Event – Sheffield – 28 April.
  • Paradigm Lending Master Class – Edinburgh – 6 May.
  • Paradigm Lending Master Class – Glasgow – 7 May.
  • Paradigm Mortgage & Protection Event – Belfast – 21 May.

“It’s safe to say that these are the most comprehensive series of events Paradigm Mortgage Services has put on and we hope that advisers across the country will attend and gain full benefit from them,” said John Coffield, head of Paradigm Mortgage Services.

“Our focus is on informing and educating advisers on the various market opportunities that exist but it is also about opening communication channels between our lenders and provider partners and the adviser community.

“This is why we have introduced the Lending Master Class event which gives a small group of advisers the chance to sit down with lender representatives and not just learn about their products and criteria but also gain an insight, via an underwriter, about how that lender approaches their underwriting practices. Our Protection Event also puts advisers face-to-face with providers while our highly successful Mortgage & Protection Events offer the chance to hear from experts in their field about ongoing market issues and opportunities.

“We firmly believe there is much for advisers to gain from attending these events and would urge anyone interested to visit our website for further details and registration forms.”
