Mortgage mental health survey deadline extended by one week

The Mortgage Industry Mental Health Charter (MIMHC) has extended the deadline for its annual mental health and wellbeing survey to Friday 11 July 2025, giving industry professionals an additional week to participate.

Now in its fifth year, the anonymous survey is designed to gather meaningful insight into the mental health experiences of people working across the mortgage sector, including brokers, administrators, business development managers, lenders and senior leaders.

The findings help shape MIMHC’s ongoing support initiatives and influence how firms across the sector address staff wellbeing.

Jason Berry, co-founder of MIMHC and director at Crystal Specialist Finance, said: “We’ve seen fantastic levels of engagement already – but we know that June has been a particularly busy month and many have not had the chance to take part.

“By extending the deadline, we’re making sure more voices can be heard.

“The insights we gain from this survey are instrumental in driving meaningful change across the sector.”

The survey takes less than five minutes to complete, and all responses remain confidential.

“Aggregated results will be shared over the summer to help mortgage and property finance firms benchmark their approach and adopt best practices in mental health and wellbeing.
