LV= appoints protection proposition director

LV= has appointed Gary Beyer as its new protection proposition director.

Beyer will join LV= in July and will lead the LV= protection team. He has nearly 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. This includes senior positions at Royal London, Scottish Widows and Prudential Assurance. Most recently, he led the Royal London Modernisation programme in his role as head of protection futures proposition.

Katherine Carnegie, LV= chief commercial officer, said: “We’ve secured a great talent in recruiting Gary as protection proposition director.

“He brings a wealth of experience in the protection space with him to LV= and will further strengthen my team. He will be at the forefront of the continuing success of the protection business.”

Beyer added: “I’m delighted to be appointed to LV= as protection proposition director. LV= is a growing and dynamic business and I’m excited to bring my experience of the mutual life sector to this role.

“I’m looking forward to getting started and contributing to the future growth of LV=.”
