LiveMore makes appointments to sales team

LiveMore, the lender for the 50-90+ age group, has expanded its sales team with the appointment of two new business development managers and a telephony support manager.

Cavina Harrison is the new business development manager for Wales and the South West and has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry.

She has been a bank manager and development coach, mortgage and protection adviser, and regional development manager for specialist lenders. She also ran her own property management business.

Harrison said: “I believe there has definitely been a gap in the mortgage market for borrowers aged 50-90+ and limited options for them to fulfil their requirements – especially as we are a population with an increasing life expectancy.

“I feel passionate about what LiveMore has to offer borrowers and I can’t wait to share this passion with intermediaries in Wales and the South West.”

Simon Parish takes on the role of business development manager covering London, with South East London plus Essex and Kent.

He has worked in financial services and the mortgage industry for 18 years primarily as a mortgage broker and BDM with lenders and associated ancillary product providers.

Parish commented: “I am thrilled to be joining LiveMore in the early stages to help it grow into a recognised brand that intermediaries will want to place their cases with.

“I’m fully aware that the later life lending arena is an expanding market and truly believe that with the products LiveMore offers, I will be able to help intermediaries help their clients find a solution to their borrowing needs.”

Meanwhile, Daksha Ladwa has joined LiveMore as telephone business development manager and brings a wealth of experience having been in the mortgage industry for 30 years.

She has worked for a range of lenders including Santander, Metro Bank, Vida Homeloans and MFS in both B2B and B2C sales, relationship management and engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Ladwa said: “I am excited to join a company with a great proposition and can see a niche for this type of business in this underserved sector.

“I’m looking forward to working with a great team and sharing my knowledge and experience. I am keen to learn more about LiveMore’s proposition, at the same time working with intermediaries and educating them on why they should use us.”
