HomeOwners Alliance deploys MQube’s AI chatbot to assist homebuyers

Published on

The HomeOwners Alliance has launched a new AI-powered chatbot on its website, designed to offer round-the-clock support and information for individuals navigating the property market.

Built by Surrey-based fintech MQube, the chatbot aims to streamline access to homebuying advice for the site’s more than 300,000 monthly visitors.

The digital assistant, named Criteria Genius, uses large language models to respond to any property-related query based on the website’s existing content. Whether users are asking how to begin the mortgage process or determining their affordability, the chatbot is designed to deliver instant, personalised responses.

The HomeOwners Alliance, known for providing impartial guidance to buyers, sellers and homeowners, said the new tool reflects a broader strategy to integrate technology into the homebuying journey.

“people can now get instant, personalised answers to their property questions, day or night”

Its chief executive, Paula Higgins, said: “Buying a home is one of the biggest and most stressful decisions people make, and we want to make sure they get the right advice at the right time.

“Our new chatbot means people can now get instant, personalised answers to their property questions, day or night.

“It’s an important step in using technology to help more people feel informed and in control of the homebuying process.”

MQube, which also provides AI-powered mortgage decisioning for intermediaries, continues to expand the use of its chatbot technology across both consumer and broker-facing platforms.

Stuart Cheetham, chief executive of MQube, said: “As an industry the more we can do to use the cutting edge of AI and financial technology to enhance the way we educate and support consumers as well as create efficiencies that enriches the customer experience, the better.

“It’s fantastic to see HomeOwners Alliance leading the charge, doing just this, and are delighted they have chosen to launch MQube’s chatbot and can see how valuable this tool will be for its website visitors.”

SCALABLE

With its always-on availability and ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously, Criteria Genius is positioned as a scalable alternative to human-staffed chat functions, offering timely answers to property queries while helping the Alliance boost user engagement and website dwell time.

MQube said that the chatbot continues to gain traction among businesses seeking to improve both operational efficiency and the digital customer experience in the property and mortgage sectors.
