Clydesdale simplifies self-employed documentation requirements

Published on

Clydesdale Bank has reduced the documentation required to support applications from self-employed customers.

The lender said it was making the change to simplify the process for applicants.

For clients whose latest accounts are from 2021 or later, the bank no longer requires a Self-Employed Supplementary Form.

It has also reduced the business bank statement requirement to one month.

For clients whose latest accounts have a year-end date of 31/122020 or earlier Clydesdale continues to need three months’ business bank statements and a completed Self-Employed Supplementary Form.
