Capital Bridging Finance appoints specialist lending head

Tom Thomas has joined Capital Bridging Finance as head of specialist lending.

Thomas, who hails from the US, has spent the last 12 years in UK financial service sector most recently as head of mortgage underwriting at the Saffron Building Society.

He said: “Plans are moving at a pace at Capital Bridging and I am very pleased that I have joined a team that will be making a big impact in the market in the coming years.

“The management team has done a great job in getting the business to where it is today and I cannot wait to bring a different dimension to the excellent proposition that they currently have in place.”

Keith Aldridge, managing director at Capital Bridging, added: “This is another indication of our commitment to growth in 2014. It is a new role we have been seeking to fill for some time and we are pleased that our ambitious plans have attracted somebody of Tom’s calibre.

“He will be working with me and the growing team at Capital Bridging to develop innovative solutions that will satisfy the product demands of our broker and development partners. Further roles will be filled in the New Year as we expand our distribution and our product range.

“Having just moved into new premises these are certainly exciting times for Capital Bridging Finance.”
