Campaign to help struggling homeowners

The Council of Mortgage Lenders has welcomed the launch of a new national campaign by the Housing Minister John Healey to provide information to help home-owners struggling to meet their mortgage payments. A series of press, online and billboard advertisements will highlight the measures the Government has put in place for homeowners to avoid repossession

The CML’s director general Michael Coogan says: “We welcome this additional initiative by the government to remind borrowers to speak to their lender at the earliest possible opportunity
