Brightstar keeps Best Companies accreditation

Brightstar Financial has retained its 3 Star Best Companies accreditation for workplace engagement.

The accreditation awarded by Best Companies is the basis upon which the Sunday Times judges its Best Companies to Work For.

Earlier this year, Brightstar was crowned as the Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For in the UK and was named as the Best Overall Company to Work For in the East of England, a category that includes large companies, medium companies, small companies, not for profit organisations and housing associations.

The final placings for 2020 will be announced in February and will be based on the score achieved as part of this accreditation.

Clare Jupp (pictured), director of people development at Brightstar Financial, said: “We are delighted to again achieve a 3 Star accreditation, which puts us in a strong position to perform well in next year’s listing of the Best Companies to Work For.

“At Brightstar, we have consistently set standards of workplace engagement beyond any other organisation in our sector, and this doesn’t happen on its own. We are continually focused on new ways that we can invest in our people, reward them for their hard work and fully engage them in the journey we are on.

“A good example of this is actually taking place today, as we will be running a Wellbeing Day. Throughout the day our Wellbeing Room will be used for neck and shoulder massages, there will be yoga taught by a fully trained yoga teacher, and even some Doggy Therapy. There will also be a mentally healthy breakfast for the team plus a ‘Wellbeing Marketplace’ over the lunchtime, where we have external sellers providing wellbeing gifts from Brightstar, selling aromatherapy products and giving hand massages and facials. And I will be launching our new ‘walking meeting’ culture – a new and innovative facet of our people development programme, which is growing in popularity and which yields great benefits, mentally and physically, as well as promoting openness and creativity.”
