Bright Grey’s average critical illness payout: £80k

Bright Grey says it paid 93% of critical illness claims last year, with only 2% of claims declined for non-disclosure. The average pay out was nearly £80,000.

The youngest claimant was 24 years old and the average age of critical illness claimants is 42 for men and 41 for women and 75% of critical illness claims were for cancer.
