Alison Pallett joins Market Harborough’s Lending Advisory Panel

Market Harborough Building Society has appointed Alison Pallett to its Lending Advisory Panel, adding further weight to its ambition to lead in the specialist lending sector.

The panel, launched earlier this year and already including respected figure Danny Belton, is tasked with advising the society on new lending propositions, distribution strategies and process efficiencies.

Pallett’s appointment strengthens its credentials and signals Market Harborough’s intent to deliver innovative lending solutions while maintaining a strong commitment to intermediary relationships.

Pallett brings more than four decades of experience in the mortgage and financial services sector. Her career spans senior roles at Nottingham Building Society, LiveMore Capital and Bank of Ireland, with a particular emphasis on intermediary distribution and the development of specialist lending channels.

Iain Kirkpatrick, chief executive of Market Harborough Building Society, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Alison to our Lending Advisory Panel. Her wealth of experience and expertise will be instrumental as we continue to innovate and expand our lending business.

“Alison’s input will help ensure we remain at the forefront of the specialist lending market, providing the best possible outcomes for our broker partners and clients.”

The panel meets regularly to assess strategic initiatives that support the society’s growth ambitions and uphold its reputation for doing the right thing for brokers.

Commenting on her appointment, Pallett (pictured) said: “Joining Market Harborough’s Lending Advisory Panel is an exciting opportunity.

“I look forward to working alongside Society colleagues and fellow panel members to help develop lending propositions and tools that meet the evolving needs of brokers and borrowers in a complex market.”
