Acre adds full Nationwide mortgage applications to its CRM

Published on

Acre has expanded its integration with Nationwide so brokers can complete a full mortgage application within the CRM, removing the need to switch to the lender’s intermediary portal.

The technology platform said the change allows advisers to move from fact find to full application in a few clicks, with data already gathered in Acre used to pre-populate the lender’s application fields.

According to Acre, the upgrade could save brokers a further 20 minutes per case on top of the time already saved through its existing decision in principle integration with Nationwide.

The firm said Nationwide is the first lender to adopt the upgraded functionality, which brings the full mortgage application process into the CRM rather than requiring brokers to rekey information into a separate system.

The move is intended to cut duplication in the application journey and reduce administration for advisers handling residential mortgage cases.

Reuben Thompson, Acre’s vice president of product innovation, said: “At Acre we strive to be the ultimate partner for brokers for the mortgage journey, delivering new ways to help them save valuable time and money and get their clients into their homes quicker than ever before.

“The ongoing work we are doing with Nationwide is a direct reflection of this and indicates where we see the future of mortgage technology heading – driving us towards a one-click mortgage application.”

Andy Tilsley, Nationwide’s head of intermediary digital, added: “This is a great milestone to achieve, brought about through collaboration at pace. Making it simpler for brokers and saving them time remain key objectives for us.

“Whilst this is fantastic news, we are not resting on our laurels and will be continuing to make further enhancements to benefit brokers.”

The update reflects continued investment in lender and CRM integrations aimed at shortening processing times and reducing friction in the broker journey.
